Who is responsible for your data?

The controller is Elisio Ltd, a company incorporated in the Republic of Mauritius.

What data do we process?

• Technical connection data: when you visit the site, our host automatically records technical logs (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type).
• Your messages: if you write to us or call us, we process the information you give us (name, contact details, business, content of your message).

This site has no forms, sets no cookies, and uses no audience-measurement tool and no third-party-hosted resource.

Providing your data is voluntary; without it we simply cannot reply to you.

Why, and on what basis?

• Technical logs: keeping the site secure and working (Elisio's legitimate interest).
• Messages: answering your request and, where relevant, preparing or performing a business relationship (steps taken at your request before a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interest).
• Business information: we send it only to professionals we work with, and you can object at any time (Elisio's legitimate interest).

Who can access your data?

Your data is processed by Elisio and by the technical providers acting on its behalf: the site's host (Netlify, Inc.) and our email provider. It is never sold or passed on.

Transfers outside Mauritius

Our technical providers may process this data outside Mauritius, in particular in the country where the site's host is established: United States (see the legal notice). Elisio ensures these transfers are covered by processing agreements with appropriate safeguards, in line with the Data Protection Act 2017.

How long do we keep it?

• Technical logs: for the period set by the host, limited to what the site's security requires.
• Enquiries that lead nowhere: 12 months after our last exchange.
• Correspondence with our business partners: for the duration of the relationship, then for the periods required by law (accounting obligations and limitation periods).

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act 2017, you have the right to access, correct and erase your data, and to ask for its processing to be restricted.

You may object at any time to the processing of your data, in particular to its use for direct marketing.

To exercise your rights, write to us at contact@elisio.mu. We reply free of charge, within one month.

No automated decision-making or profiling is based on your data.
